Screen Time Controls: Phone time with boundaries

Two girls sit on a wicker bench outdoors, smiling at each other. One wears a floral headscarf and beige dress; the other has flower-shaped sunglasses, a colorful choker, and an orange and white shirt. Green grass is visible in the background.

Troomi Screen Time Controls empower families to create a healthy balance with screen time that fits their daily life. Through the Troomi Parent Portal, parents can easily design phone and app schedules around school, social events, and family moments, providing children with clear boundaries that help them learn to manage screen time as they grow.

How It Works

A phone screen shows the Troomi app with profiles for four kids and options to set time limits and schedules. Sliders and toggles control weekday and weekend settings. The background is orange.
A chart shows message activity by time slots, with the most messages sent from 6pm–9pm and 9pm–Midnight. There are 26 messages, 15 flagged, and 2 blocked in the last 7 days.

Customizable screen time

Families can create custom access windows for each day of the week, with up to three allowed time periods per day. Schedules can apply to the entire phone or be customized for specific apps and app categories.

Flexible when plans change

Parents can temporarily add screen time, unlock apps, or instantly "ground" the phone from the Troomi Parent Portal without changing the child's regular schedule.

Important apps stay available

Essential functions such as Emergency Services, medical utilities, and maps remain accessible even when other apps reach their screen time limits or scheduled access ends.

Healthy screen habits with Troomi

Usage gauges, activity reports, and limit notifications give parents insight into phone use, allowing them to adjust boundaries and encourage greater responsibility as the child builds healthy habits.

What Parents Are Saying

Two black smartphones, one showing a home screen with the orange Troomi Protect Childhood background and app icons, are displayed on a light peach gradient background.

“My favorite feature is the parent portal! I love that I can set limits on screen time and usage.

We are making baby steps together as we prepare for more responsibility with technology.”
