We’ve loved our experience with troomi! It’s a great. Kid safe phone for the right age. My son is older now and transitioning to a “grownup” phone that meets his high school needs. Ending our time with Troomi was bittersweet but Sarah K made the process so easy and helped us port out his phone number too. Is there a contract?

No, Troomi does not require a contract. We offer flexible month-to-month plans.

If I receive a discounted or free phone, am I required to stay on a plan for a certain number of months?

Troomi has no contracts! If you decide to cancel within the first 30 days, just return the phone to us. After that, you’re free to come and go with no obligations.

Do I need to buy a Troomi phone, or can I just use my own and install the app?

Simply provide your account number and transfer PIN from your previous carrier, and Troomi will handle the rest. The process typically takes a few hours to a day, during which you can continue using your previous phone. Please note there is a $30 fee for number transfer.
