Mindfulness and relaxation are two distinct, yet complementing practices often used to achieve well-being. According to the APA (American Psychological Association), mindfulness is the non-judgmental awareness of one’s internal and external environment, while relaxation is the process of easing energy or tension to produce calmness of mind and body.
